Двама мъже в Доминиканската република бяха осъдени на по 30 години затвор за убийство на американска студентка от български произход, съобщава БТА.
28-годишната Емилия Градеска била намерена мъртва в апартамента си в столицата на страната Санто Доминго на 30 юли 2005 г.

The woman was found dead at 9:30 PM on July 30, 2005 in her apartment, located in this city’s Evaristo Morales sector. 1st Collegiate Court judge Esther Agelán Casasnovas’ sentence, to be read next Thursday August 10, sentences Nilson Lemos Jacques and Carlos Williams Montero Jeronimo to 30 years in prison. Lemos Jacques worked as the doorman in the apartment building where the victim lived, and facilitated entering the apartment with the initial intention, he assured, of stealing. When the Police, alerted by people who suspected that something had taken place, went to investigate, and later searched the watchman’s home and found the victim’s cellphone, gathered the evidence and arresting the killers in less than 24 hours. Although the Police seized the student’s cellphone from him, Lemos refused denied having committed the crime, but when investigators went to his house in the La Cienaga sector and also found the victim’s jewelry there, including a ring with her name, Lemos finally confessed. He told authorities that he was induced to commit the murder by Williams Montero. They entered her apartment without resistance because the girl, upon recognizing the doorman, simply opened the door, and her ordeal had begun.
